Club will not join the Larian Kelab Penembak in Klang on 10th January 2010. Due to Great Eastern Pacesetters also have 10km run, all members that have given their name to join the Kelab Penembak Run will be transfered to join Great Eastern Pacesetters Run. Please be noticed.

Distance: 10km / 20km /30km

Date: 17th January 2010

Time: 5.30am (30km starts)

Venue: Precint 6, Putrajaya

Fees: RM40 / RM40 / RM45

Timing chip: RM10 (refundable) (for 20km & 30km only)

Closing date: 10th January or 3000 entries (whichever comes first)

**but our club will submit the entry form on 26th December 2010. Later than that, you have to submit to pacesetters by yourself. thank you

Malaysian University Explore Race

salam..

there was malaysian university explore race at UTHM (Johore) on 23rd nov to 25th nov 2009. and UiTM had called our club to send a team that must have 2 men and 2 women. the team members were aizuddin, hafizi (fizi), shafikah (fifi), & nurhafiza (pjart). all of them are URC committee..

there were 10 other teams in the race. UM had sent 3 teams and UUM had sent 2 teams, there rest just sent one like UiTM. the other universities that took part were UniKL MITEC, UniKL BMI, UPNM, UTHM, and UMT.

the theme of the race is "survival". it is so obvious that KRESMA suppose to join this type of race but our club been called to send one. the URC team actually didnt expect the explore race is survival race. that camping at two different places for two night and run the all the stuffs here and there. the last day (25th nov 2009), last game the team had was "pandu arah" which is using compass, protractor, and map. the team main goal is to be behind UPNM as they suppose to be so good in the bearing and map reading. however, there were two teams reach the finish checkpoint of the game which were UiTM and UniKL MITEC. our URC team actually learn to read the compass and bearing on the night they reached UTHM (from 9.30pm to 1.00am).

UiTM had won 1st place in this race. Once again URC brought up UiTM name in the explore race.

URC is coming back online

salam to all loyal members of URC, as we all know the semester break has started and less activity we can go together. But don't forget that there are still running event out there such as:

>>SJK(C) Kwong Hon Charity Run (17 december 09 - 10km - Sungai Besi - RM35)

>>Malakoff 12km 2009 (20 december 09 - 12km - Bukit Kiara - RM35)

Some of the members will join the Malakoff 12km in Bukit Kiara. However since members are not in UiTM, therefor we will not be going with UiTM bus. We will go there by ourselves.

Ramadhan..Aidilfitri..Training..

Salam to all runners out there.

Happy Aidilfitri to all of us and may God bless us all. As raya is here, food is the main thing now. Don't get eating disorder. As soon as we get back to the campus, the training is back to normal (as it is still be done in fasting month however). Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. And for those who join the Ekiden run on 4th october, do not disobey your training. Do it personally ;)..

However, some of the committee wont be there on the training day in UiTM as we will be on the Kayak & Rowing training from 1st oct to 3rd oct and the game will be held from 6th oct to 11th oct in putrajaya. Those members are - Aizuddin, Nazrul, Nasrul, Norhafizi, and Siti Shafikah.

Selain itu, kesemua AJK kelab mengambil kesempatan ini untuk memohon maaf sekiranya terdapat kekurangan dalam mentadbir kelab ini. Oleh kerana URC baru sahaja menjangkau setahun usia, marilah kita bersama-sama menaikkan nama UiTM Malaysia Runners' Club ke taraf berikutnya. Insyallah..

Jejak Robotik Explore Race

Salam.. On the 15th august 2009, our club had sent one team (of four people) to the Pusat Sains Negara to participate in the explore race. And so, the team of four members (Nasrul, Alwi, Neldy, & Sufinah) had won the first place. The prize for them was a vacation trip to PHUKET.

Congratulations to the team that make us proud.. Thumbs up!

Salam to all URC members..

Happy fasting in this Ramadhan month and let us understand deeply the need of fasting..

Eventhough it is Ramadhan now, our club's training day is still the same on Tuesday & Thursday from 5.45pm to 6.30pm.. The training is more on jogging to maintain the fitness of each runners.
Any further info, do not hesitate to sms the committee.

For old and new members, you are required to pay RM7 for the club's fee before 4th September 2009 to Nazrul Agos (013-2282120) or Aizuddin (013-2225741). You are considered as not interested in joining our club if you are not settle the club's fee before the date stated. Therefor, your name will be deleted from the namelist and no info about the club will be sent to you via sms.

like always, please gather in the sunday morning early as we want to give you your running vest & bib number (for those who have the receipt with us) and power bar for those who will run 22km only.

report: Malakoff University Duathlon Series 2009 (UPM only)

salam, on 19th July 2009 our club have cooperate with UiTM Cycling club to join the duathlon race in UPM. UiTM had sent 5 teams which were two men teams, two mixed teams, & one women team. The race was 3km running - 13km cycling - 3km running. So, the team must consist of 3 participant.

McD Olympic Day Run 2009

salam.. To all URC members that will join the run on this Sunday (12th July 2009), please be punctual like always ok.
